Fahad Khan’s confident 81 steers Deccan XI Strikers to a win over Panthers CC

Played at Ajay MPS Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana, Deccan XI Strikers after being put to bat first made a total of 191/5 in 20 overs. After facing a top order collapse, Deccan XI got back into the game thanks to their middle order batters chipping in with cameos. Syed Ahmed at no.6 scored a crucial knock of 74* while stitching crucial stands with Ismail and Abdul.

Panthers CC in reply chased down the score in a convincing manner crossing the victory line in the 18th over. Opener M Fahad Khan laid a perfect foundation for the chase as he counter attacked the bowlers from the word go. Fahad went on to score a match winning innings of 81 runs in 53 balls which included 12 boundaries and a six while Anas Shaker at no.3 remained unbeaten scoring 30* as Panthers CC won the match by 8 wkts.
