Nikhil Verma bags a brilliant 7wkt haul in MCA U 19 Naren Tamhane Summer Camp Trophy’26

Played at Shivaji Park Gymkhana in in Mumbai, U19 Goregaon Centre batting first were all out for 147 runs in 38.2 overs. U19 Churchgate Centre bowled exceptionally well especially Nikhil Verma who led from the front with a match winning fifer. Nikhil who trains at Elevate Cricket Academy in Mumbai alongside Head Coach Prashant Patil bowled brilliantly as he took 7/21 in 12.2 overs including 4 maidens. Nikhil kept it tight not allowing opposition batters to settle while taking timely breakthroughs which made all the impact in the match.

U19 Churchgate Centre in reply scored 353/10 in 76.4 overs powered by Hiten Solanki’s 124 off 148 balls. U19 Goregaon Centre in 2nd innings batted for 49 overs scoring 237/5 before the end of the game’s play as U19 Goregaon Centre won the match on 1st innings lead.
