U19 Boisar Centre batting first at Sassanian, Azad Maidan Ground were all out for just 149 runs. Openers Nirbhay and Vidhiraj chipped in with 30’s while rest of the batters found it difficult to get going. From the bowlers, Suraj Saroj with 4/21 was the pick of the lot.
Defending a low total, U19 Bhiwandi Center received a tough fight from Boisar bowlers as they were bundled out for just 55 runs in 21 overs. Fast bowler Nehal Meher who trains at DY Cricket Academy in Mira-Bhayandar. Nehal returned with exceptional bowling figures of 7/20 in 8 overs rattiling through the opposition’s batting line up with his fiery pace bowling. Nehal has been impressive throughout the tournament taking 12 wkts and emerging as the highest wicket taker as U19 Boisar Centre won the match by 94 runs.
