DY Cricket Academy located in Mira-Bhayandar in Mumbai is known for its quality cricket coaching and group of young passionate coaches who treat every child with personal attention. In the last few years, the academy has growed leaps and bounds with many of their young players going on to play higher levels across Mumbai Cricket.
One such player who has made everyone at the DY Cricket Academy proud is Shahid Khan who got selected for Mumbai U14 Team for upcoming U14 West Zone League. Shahid- a young prodigy who has scored runs heavily since last few seasons. From scoring a half century recently in the Harris Shield finals at Brabourne more recently to becoming a Harris Shield Champion to smashing centuries in tournaments like Dream XI Cup, MCA Ajit Naik Tournament, Giles Shield, Harris Shield and even a half century this season in Kanga League, Shahid has been in the news for all the right reasons!
Shahid’s consistent batting performances since last one year has made him earn a spot in the prestigious Mumbai Team which is indeed a proud moment for his parents and DY Cricket Academy.
The Founder and Head Coach Yash Tolani who is himself a successful club cricketer from Mumbai has been amongst the top wicket-takers in MCA Kanga League has created a great platform for kids from the Mira to Virar region to receive quality cricket coaching and higher opportunities.
