Dinesh Mohan’s All-Round show helps CCT XI win finals of Gentleman’s Game 25 Tournament

Played New Madies 3 Ground in Telangana, Hyderabad, CCT XI after being put to bat first posted a total of 108/10 in 20 overs. Opener Sree Krishna scored 38 runs while Jitendra Tyagi (45 runs) and Dinesh Mohan (28 runs off 19 balls) at the middle order further accelerated to ensure a strong team total on the board. From the bowlers, Ajay Piriya with 4/26 was the pick of the lot.

Musketeers XI in reply were all out for 145 runs in the penultimate over with a ball to spare. All-Rounder Dinesh Mohan provided crucial top order wickets returning with a match winning spell of 3/8 in 3 overs alongwith Girimaji Sridhar who took 4/19 in 4 overs.

Result: CCT XI won the finals by 35 runs, Dinesh Mohan for his all round performance of 28runs and 3/8 was declared ‘man of the match’
