MES U16 into Elite phase (Top 8) of Harris Shield Tournament organised by MSSA.

Modern English School (Chembur) by Achievers Cricket Academy after being put to bat first at Cross, Navi Mumbai made a total of 155 runs in 37.1 overs. Even though they lost early top order wickets but Kavish Gosalia & Pranaav Iyengar stitched crucial partnerships to take their team towards a respectable total. Kavish scored 32 off 46 balls while Pranav chipped in with a crucial 25 at no.7 along with Jshmit Singh’s 16 at no.8

Defending 156, Anand Vishwa Gurukul were all out for 111 runs in 27.3 overs courtesy a clinical bowling performance by MES bowlers. Deekshant Patil returned with exceptional bowling figures coming up with 5/27 in 10.3 overs which included crucial top and middle order wickets. Deekshant provided timely breakthroughs and made sure the opposition batters stayed under pressure. Deekshant was well supported by jshmit who also contributed with 3 wkts as Modern English School, Chembur by Achievers Cricket Academy won the match by 44 runs.
