17 year old leg spinner Darsh Abhinay from Hyderabad played the Middlesex Cricket County League for Headstone Manor CC. Darsh was inducted into the Middlesex County Cricket League Hall of Fame for taking all 10 wickets in an innings. He was also the Player of the week in Middlesex County.
In his very first match Darsh picked up all the Ten Wickets in the innings giving away 59 Runs against Southgate CC. His figures were 14.2-1-59-10. He also top scored for his team while batting and scored 37. He also took a catch off his own bowling.
In the match against Wycombe House Darsh came up with an all-round performance. Darsh scored 58 off 85 balls and picked up 5 wickets (10-0-60-5). He also took 3 catches.
In the match against South Hampstead, Darsh dished out another all round performance of 10-0-36-2 and scored 52 off 55 balls and one catch.
Opening the batting against London Macarbi, Darsh missed out on a century. He scored 95 off 109 Balls which included 3 fours and 1 six. He returned with figures of 7-0-50-1 and took one catch.
Overall Darsh had a very good season both with the bat and ball for the Club. In the 11 matches that he played, he scored 302 Runs including 3 fifties with a highest score of 95 and taking 24 Wickets and 11 Catches. Darsh Abhinay is a Grade 12 student of Sancta Maria International School, Hyderabad.
