CST Centre A wins as Kush Kariya (177) and Moin Khan’s 10wkt haul rips through Churchgate Centre in U23 Madhav Mantri Trophy’24

CST Centre A batting first at Chiklikar Ground in Vangaon made a total of 270/10 in 67.1 overs. Wicket-keeper opening batsman Kush Kariya single handedly batted it out for CST as he scored a majestic knock of 177 runs in 218 balls smashing 30 boundaries and a six. Kush faced almost half of the team’s total overs faced and scored more than 70% of the team’s total single handedly as rest of the batters batted around him. From the bowlers, Agastya Bangera with 5/71 was the pick of the lot.

Churchgate Centre A in their 1st innings were faltered out for just 80 runs thanks to a match winning spell by Moin Khan as he ripped through the entire batting line up with a fiery spell of 8/31 in 10.5 overs with 3 maidens. Receiving a follow on, Churchgate Centre were again all out for 90 runs in which Yaseen took 4wkts while Moin took 2/10 in 5 overs.

Moin ended the match with bowling figures of 10/41 in 15.5 overs with 6 maidens as CST Centre won the match by an innings and 92 runs.
