Cricket Explained Academy – One of the best cricket academies from Mumbai recently conducted an off-season tour to Bengaluru for its academy students where in they would participate in matches vs the clubs/academy teams from Bengaluru to gain experience of playing under different conditions. Cricket Explained Academy returned back home with flying colors winning both the T20 and One Day Series winning 4 out of 5 games in their tour.
In the One Day Tour, Cricket Explained Academy won 2 out of 3 games making a comeback after losing the first match, the first match vs KYCA A,arya Sagare scored an impressive 100 and all-round performance by Aayush Ambekar who scored a half century and also took 3 wkts. In the 2nd match vs MCA U14, Cricket Explained Academy chasing 136 runs won the match by 6 wkts with opener Arnav Sant scoring a gritty 40 while Abhimanyu taking 3/34 with the ball. In the 3rd One Day match vs KYCA U14, skipper Aayush Ambekar scored a solid half century and Aarya Sagare notched up his 2nd hundred in the tour which helped them post a total of 235/9 in 40 overs which they ultimately won by 34 runs.
In the 2 T20 matches, CE boys did an excellent job winning both the games vs KPCA Wizards. In the first match, Aayush Ambekar (46*) and Aarya Sagare (43*) chased down the total of 114 runs in mere 11.3 overs winning the match by 9 wkts. In the 2nd match, Cricket Explained bowlers did a fab job successfully defending their total of 138 runs and winning the match by 5 runs through DLS method.
Coach Hrishikesh Puranik shared “The purpose of this tour was to make them play in alien conditions, adaptability, playing against different teams from other states, staying away from family & comfort zone which builds character. So proud of the way our U12’s played. Most of them travelled for the first time and did so well.”
