Cricket Explained Academy opting to bat first at New Era, Azad Maidan at one stage were in deep trouble with scoreboard reading 85/7. However, there was an epic comeback in the script courtesy a record 133* run stand for the 8th wicket between Yashvi Gori and Bhagwanshree Gaonkar. Both the players came in when pressure was high, soaked the pressure and rescued Cricket Explained Team to a very healthy total on board. 17yr old Yashvi scored a solid looking 50* off 61 balls while Bhagwanshree scored an unbeaten 75* off 45 balls as both the players smashed 15 boundaries together!
Little Feet Academy in reply were cleaned up for 54 runs in 22.3 overs courtesy an impressive match winning spell by Jiaan Lakhmani. 10yr old little master Jiaan returned with envious bowling figures of 4/2 in 4.3 overs including 2 maidens while Shreyash Sawant took 3/30 in 7 overs.
Cricket Explained Academy won the match by 200 runs while Yashvi for her overall performance with the bat and behind the stumps was declared ‘Man of the Match”
