Cricket Explained Academy into the finals, 3rd back to back win in U12 Little Champs Tournament’24

U-12 LITTLE CHAMPS TOURNAMENT 2024-25 ORGANISED BY FIONA SPORTS in association with Cricket Explained Academy.

Cricket Explained Academy opting to bat first at Azad Maidan in Mumbai managed to score a total of 90/9 in 30 overs. After almost facing a batting collapse, it was Arnav Sant at no.7 who came across as a savior smashing a handful of runs which made all the difference. Arnav soaked in the pressure and faced 50 deliveries remaining unbeaten on 27* as rest of the batters batted around him.

Defending a modest total of 91 runs, the pressure was more on CE Bowlers than Yuva Cricket Club batters. However, Cricket Explained Academy bowlers did a fabulous job of scripting yet another memorable win to reach the finale of the tournament. Yuva CC who were cruising at one stage with 60/2 while chasing 91 were all out for 74 runs as CE bowlers took 8 wkts in their last 14 runs which they conceded!

Skipper Jiaan Lakhmani led from the front taking 4/13 while it was Arnav’s day as he also contributed with the ball taking 3/20 in 5 overs as Cricket Explained Academy, Dombivli won the match by 16 runs. Captain Jiaan for his heroic bowling spell was declared ‘man of the match”
