Crescent CC into the finals as Jayesh Bhati bags a fifer in the semi-finals of C Div MCA President Cup’26

Into the all-important semi-finals played at United Cricketers, Cross Maidan, Crescent Cricket Club (Andheri) batting first made a healthy total on board putting up 208/6 in 20 overs. Saurav More played a blinder of an innings smashing a brilliant 121* off mere 59 balls which had 12 boundaries and 6 sixes. From the bowlers, Niranjan Yadav with 3/32 was the pick of the lot.

Defending a total of 209, Crescent CC bowlers did an excellent job restricting GSB Sports Club to 182 runs all out in 20 overs. Jayesh Bhati led the pace attack with superb bowling on display as he took 5.18 in 4 overs. Jayesh’s spell was not only super economical but he also dismantled the opposition’s batting line up with timely breakthroughs which made all the difference in the match as Crescent Cricket Club (Andheri) won the semi-finals by 26 runs.
