Captain Adarsh Singh shines with a win over Chewara Gladiator in Sheikhpura Premier League’23

Inday Warriors opting to bat first at Ajad Ground in Sheikhpura made a very healthy total on board putting up 215/5 in 20 overs. The top 3 batters consisting of Agastya (45 off 22 balls), Kumar Rahul (68 off 46 balls) and Sachin Yadav (50 off 36 balls) were the top scorers for Inday Warriors as they helped the team reach a more than defendable total on board. Skipper Adarsh Singh who came at no.6 remained unbeaten with Subham Kumar at the end of their innings.

Chewara Gladiator in reply could only manage 130/9 in 20 overs courtesy a brilliant bowling performance by Inday Warriors bowlers. Satyam Kumar returned with match winning bowling figures of 5/22 in 4 overs while Captain Adarsh Singh also did his contribution taking 2/21 in 4 overs including a maiden in what turned out to be an equally impressive spell.

Adarsh’s selfless Captaincy and collective team performance ensured Inday Warriors won the match by 85 runs.
