Bihar’s Middle Order Batsman Adarsh Singh smashes an unbeaten 137* in the U16 Vijay Merchant Trophy

Played at Energy Stadium in Rajbansinagar, Team Bihar batting first once again displayed their stronghold amassing a huge 1st innings total on board of 473/8 in 123 overs. Captain Arnav Kishor gave a good start scoring 109 off 157 balls while it was Adarsh Singh at no.6 who proved to be the game changer with a brilliant knock of 137* off 187 balls. Adarsh smashed 22 boundaries and a six taking Bihar to a commanding position while also leaving behind an impact registering his 2nd state level hundred in the prestigious Vijay Merchant Tournament 2017-18.

Manipur in reply could only manage105 runs in their 1st innings followed by 98 runs in the 2nd innings as Bihar won the match by an innings and 270 runs.
