
Played at the picturesque CCI ground in Mumbai, Cricket Club of India opting to bat first made a total of 382/9 in 70 overs. Akhil Herwadkar opening the innings went on to score a massive hundred continuing his consistent run with the bat. Akhil scored an impressive knock of 172 runs facing 181 deliveries which included 21 boundaries and 2 sixes. Akhil displayed solid composure batting till 64 overs even when wickets were falling from the other end. Akhil was well supported by Chinmay Sutar who scored 74 at the middle order as both the players stitched 163 run stand for the 4th wicket.
Parel Sporting Club in reply were all out for 133 runs in 34.4 overs courtesy a fifer by left arm spinner Dhrumil Matkar who took 5/22 in 6.3 overs as CCI won by a massive margin of 249 runs.
