After defeating a strong Tamil Nadu side a few days back, Chattisgarh team seems to on a roll this time defeating Chandigarh at the Ambedkar Stadium in Baramati. Chandigarh Team after opting to bat first posted a total of 150/6 in 20 overs. Manan Vohra opening the innings played a perfect Captain’s knock scoring 52 off 43 balls smashing 3 sixes and a boundary. From the bowlers, Sumit Ruikar, Ajay Mandal & Sourabh Majumdar bagged 2 wkts each.

Chattisgarh Team in reply chased down the score with superlative ease winning the match by 8 wkts and 1.4 overs to spare. Opener Amandeep Khare and Skipper Harpreet Singh Bhatia stitched a 133 run stand for the 2nd wicket making things easier for their team. Amandeep scored 73 off 59 balls while Harpreet remained unbeaten scoring 60* off 42 balls smashing 6 fours and 2 sixes.

Harpreet who has been in tremendous form since last 2 years continues to knock the doors hardly not only performing consistently as a batsman but also leading from the front as a leader of the pack.
