Back to Back Half Centuries for Sachin Gill in the NPCA T20 Super League’23

In the match vs SCLPS on 18th of February at Ruaraka Sports Club in Nairobi, SCLPS batting first were all out for 120 runs. Ruaraka Sports Club in reply chased down the score in mere 10.5 overs winning the match by 7 wkts. Sachin Gill who came at no.3 played the finishers role to perfection as he scored a quickfire 54* off just 19 balls. Sachin spanked 4 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 284.21 helping his team win the match in a commanding fashion.

In the next match which followed on 19th February, Kanbis Sports Club batting first at Ruaraka Sports Ground in Nairobi scored 139/10 in 19 overs. Opener Narendra Patel was the top scorer with 42 runs while chasing 140, Ruaraka Sports Club won the match by 9 wkts courtesy a brilliant 41* off 25 balls by Sachin Gill. Sachin stitched a match winning partnership with opener Pushkar as they crossed the victory line in the 17th over itself winning the match by 9 wkts.

Sachin Gill – the Mumbai bred all-rounder has been consistently ruling the all-rounder charts in Kenya Cricket and its about time he makes it into the Kenya International Team.
