After a dream run in Ranji Trophy, an impressive show in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and now showing his experience and maturity in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, there seems to be no stopping for Harpreet Singh Bhatia who is consistently proving himself since many seasons across all the formats.
In the match vs Haryana where Chhattisgarh were supposed to chase 223, Harpreet was the only player who posed a threat as he scored a solid 66 off 82 balls coming at no.3. Harpreet smashed 6 fours and 2 sixes but lacked support from other end as his team was all out for 171 runs.
In the other match which followed vs Arunachal Pradesh, the match was reduced to 21 overs per side where in Chattisgarh scored 137/4 in 20 overs. Opener Akhil scored 71 runs while captain Harpreet once again backed it up with a solid half century scoring 50 off 50 balls wherein he smashed 6 fours and a six.
The match could not produce any result as Arunachal Pradesh only batted for 8 overs but Harpreet certainly left behind a statement performing well across all the 3 formats this season for Chhattisgarh.
