Chasing 149, Bombay Gymkhana received tough fight from Apollo CC bowlers as they restricted them to 137/9 in 20 overs. Opener Bhupen Lalwani fought it out single handedly smashing an aggressive half century laced with 4 sixes. Bhupen scored 50 off 35 balls being the only half centurion in the match. This is Bhupen’s 3rd Half Century on the trot, first was against Tamil Nadu, then in Young Comrade and now in Salar Jung.
The rest of the batters found it difficult to get going as Apollo CC won the match by 11 runs.
