Ayan Pathan’s 86 goes in vain vs Police Gymkhana in U23 Madhav Mantri Tournament’24

Chikhlikar Ground Centre 1 opting to bat first at Adani Stadium in Dahanu made 203/10 in their 1st innings with opener Ayan Pathan top scoring in the match smashing a solid 86 off 211 balls. Ayan held fort even when wickets were tumbling from the other end as he faced more than half of the overs alone in his 211 ball stay at the crease which also included 10 boundaries. Ayan, overall has 246 runs in 4 innings in Madhav Mantri Tournament so far which includes 2 half centuries.

Police Gymkhana Centre 1 in their 1st innings scored 198/10 with Aman Tiwary bagging a fifer while Ashley D Souza taking 4 wkts. Chikhlikar Ground Centre 1 in 2nd innings collapsed quickly for 129 runs all out giving only a target of  136 for Police Gymkhana to chase which they achieved quite easily in their 2nd innings winning the match by 5 wkts with middle order batter Adil scoring 63* off 105 balls.
