Arshiyan’s Unbeaten Double Century helps Worli SC clinch a win in 9th U12 Bhaskar Thakur Memorial Tournament’25

Worli Sports Club opting to bat first on Azad Maidan made a massive total on board notching up 327 runs without the loss of any wickets in 22 overs. Captain Arshiyan Shaikh scored a brilliant 204* off 92 balls which included 35 boundaries at an impressive strike rate of 221.74. Arshiyan who displayed enterprising strokeplay dominated bowlers and smashed them in every corner of the ground. He was well supported by Aditya Yadav (80* off 45 balls) as both the players stitched a record 327 runs partnership for first wicket.

Merry Cricketers in reply were cleaned up for just 27 runs thanks to a brilliant match winning spell by Vedant Pandey who took 4/4 in 5 overs including 2 maidens. Shaurya Gharat also bowled well taking 3/4 in 3 overs as Worli SC clinched a massive win by 300 runs.
