Arhaan Patel’s gutsy 59 guides Omtex ICWC to a win in U14 Spider Shield’23

Omtex ICWC after opting to bat first at Vangaon in Palghar made a good total on board notching up 137/5 in 25 overs. Skipper and opening batsman Arhaan Patel once again showed sparks of brilliance this time scoring a matured innings at the top of the order. Arhaan scored 59 off 70 balls smashing 4 boundaries while also stitching a handy partnership with Jay Agarwal who scored 37 runs off 46 balls.

Spider B in reply were cleaned up for 72 runs in 21 overs with Yug Padhiyar, Ankit Sharma and Swaraj Kadam bagging 2wkts each. Omtex ICWC won by 65 runs while Arhaan Patel was declared ‘man of the match”
