Amogh Gawade’s unbeaten 108* steers Young Parsee Cricket Club to a win in Mumbai Junior Shield’25

Shree Matunga Gujarati Seva Mandal opting to bat first at United Cricketers, Cross Maidan made a total of 159/10 in 36 overs. Opener Rishi scored 31 runs while Aditya Koli (39 runs) and Aasif Imandar (35*) contributed with crucial cameos at the middle order. From the bowlers, Abhinav Pujary and Faiyaz Shaikh with 3 wkts each were the pick of the lot.

Young Parsee Cricket Club in reply chased down the total successfully in 39.3 overs courtesy a brilliant century by their opener Amogh Gawade. Amogh opening the innings batted from start to end anchoring the chase with a solid 108* off 122 balls which included 8 boundaries and 5 sixes. Amogh was well supported by Sahil Soni who scored 39* at no.6 as Young Parsee CC won the match by 6 wkts.
