Ambidexterous Spinner Omkar Chettiar bags a 4 wkt haul in APL T20 Red Ball Tournament’24

The Ancients opting to bat first on Azad Maidan made a total of 103/10 in 16 overs. Most of the batters found it difficult to get going with Edward at the middle order being the top scorer with 29 runs. Defending a total of 104 runs, Ancients bowlers gave a tough fight to Meraki Sport & Entertainment team not allowing them to win easily!

Meraki were 7 down before they crossed the victory line thanks to an impressive spell by left arm spinner Omkar Chettiar who was the pick of the lot in the match taking 4/25 in 4 overs including wickets of both the openers! Omkar is a promising spin bowling all-rounder who holds the ability to bowl spin with both the hands!

Badal Shaikh at the middle order however finished off the game for Meraki scoring an unbeaten 40* as Meraki Sport & Entertainment team won the match by 3 wkts.
