However, Alsaadh Shaikh at the middle order held fort and guided his team towards a strong position as he scored a crucial half century. Alsaadh went on to score a brilliant 97 off 129 balls which included 11 boundaries and 4 sixes while stitching a 93 run stand for 8th wicket with Saud Mansuri (38 runs) as Muslim United reached a defendable total of 266 runs.
John Bright Cricket Club in reply were all out for 208 runs in 51.4 overs with Tanay Khandeshi being the pick of the lot bagging 6/46 in 15.4 overs including 5 maidens as Muslim United Sports Club won the match by 58 runs.
