All-Rounder Yash Tolani’s crucial 4wkt haul steers St Mary’s CC to a win in Cosmopolitan Shield Tournament’24

St.Mary’s Cricket Club after being put to bat first at Navroz Wicket in Azad Maidan, Mumbai made a total of 151 all out in 34.1 overs. Anup Singh with 49 runs was the highest scorer at the middle order while rest of the batters found it a bit difficult to get going.  Left-arm spinner Yash Tolani was the pick of the lot as he returned with impressive bowling figures of 4/31 in 8 overs including 2 wkts. Yash provided timely breakthroughs while also broke a few partnerships to restrict St Mary’s CC to a modest total.

Lorth Northbrook Cricket Club in reply chased down the score in just 36 overs with Shreyash Kadam at the middle order scoring 54 runs off 79 balls. All-Rounder Yash also chipped in with a quick cameo spanking 2 sixes as he scored a 7 ball 18!

Result: Lord Northbrook CC won the match by 4 wkts.
