All-Rounder Sydney Joseph bags MoM award in the finals of Russell Mania – 67 Tournament’24

United XI CC opting to bat first at AM Cricket Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana made a total of 199/6 in 20 overs giving a target of exact 200 to the opposition. Rohit and Garsha gave a splendid opening start putting on 70 runs in the first powerplay while it was Sydney Joseph coming at no.4 top scoring in the match. Captain Sydney once again led from the front playing finisher’s role to perfection as he scored a match winning 55 off just 31 balls, a knock which included 8 boundaries and 2 sixes at an impressive strike rate of 177.42.

Defending an exact 200, Express Air Travels were all out for 135 runs in 18.4 overs as United XI bowlers put on a clinical bowling performance. Ravi, Charan and Sydney with 2wkts each were the pick of the lot as United XI CC won the match by 64 runs. Sydney for his vital all-round contribution was declared ‘man of the match”
