All-Rounder Sydney ends as MVP as United Aark win the finals of High Voltage T20 Cricket League’22

Played at Westeros Cricket Ground in Hyderabad, United Aark opting to bat first posted a massive total of 218/9 in 20 overs. Openers Rohit Kumar and Vivin Davis gave a flying start putting on a stunning 109 run opening stand in the first seven overs. Rohit Kumar scored 41 off 18 balls while Vivin Davis scored 70 off just 28 balls.

Begumpet Risers in reply could only manage 142/10 in 18.1 overs courtesy a tight bowling performance from the United Aark Bowlers. Sai Ram with 4/11 and Shanthi Raj with 2/7 were excellent with the ball while skipper Sydney Joseph also bagged 1 wkt in his spell of 3 overs.

United Aark won the match by 76 runs and became the Champions of the High Voltage T20 Tournament Edition 6. Sydney Joseph who has led from the front as a Captain received the Best Bowler Award taking 21 wkts in 6 matches at an unbelievable average of 5.71 & an economy of 5.54. Sydney also ended up being the Most Valuable Player of the tournament leading the table charts with 54.05 points.
