All-Rounder Mann Bhanushal bags a fifer in U16 MCA Santosh Kumar Ghosh Trophy’22

In the first match which was played at Mahim Juveniles Ground at Shivaji Park, Gay Cavaliers Cricket Club batting first posted a total of 205/10 in 59.5 overs with Harshvardhan at no.7 top scoring with 53 runs. Harshvardhan also forged a partnership with Mann Bhanushali who scored 13 runs at no.8.  Shivaji Park Gymkhana in reply were cleaned up for 129 runs courtesy a match winning spell by Mann Bhanushali who took 5/47 in 15 overs. Mann provided timely breakthroughs not allowing the SPG batters to settle down.

Shivaji Park Gymkhana receiving a follow on were again bundled out for 80 runs and this time it was Kartikey Shukla taking 7/24 in 14.1 overs in 12.1 overs with 4 maidens. With a target of just 5 runs, Gay Cavaliers CC chased down the total without any loss of wickets winning the match by 10 wkts.

Mann ended the match with 6 wkts in his kitty (5 in 1st innings & 1 wkt in 2nd innings) alongwith handy contribution with the bat.

Mann Bhanushali – one of the promising spin bowling all-rounders in U16 Category of Mumbai Cricket continues to impress with his consistent performances this time bagging a 6wkt haul in Santosh Kumar Ghosh Trophy and making a strong case for himself.
