The OG’s opting to bat first at SCG Cricket Ground in Hyderabad made a total of 188/8 in 20 overs with their opener UdaykIran (51 runs) smashing a half century. From the bowlers, Santosh Sanju with 3/39 and Uday Sai with 2/43 were the pick of the lot from Directors XI.
Chasing 189, Director’s XI lost both their opener early and in came Dinesh Mohan when scoreboard was reading 14/2 at one stage. Dinesh known as one of the reputed finishers in Hyderabad’s T20 Cricket showed his class all over as he anchored the chase with a match winning 91* off 58 balls. Dinesh missed out on a well-deserved century, however he took his team home smashing 10 boundaries and engaging in lots of hard work between the wickets. Striking at 157.00, Dinesh kept the scoreboard ticking as rest of the players batted around him.
