Akhil Herwadkar’s 63 goes in vain as Attarde 4-fer helps Victory CC post a win in Police Shield’25

Left-handed experienced opener Akhil Herwadkar was the top scorer in the match scoring a solid looking 63 off 97 balls. At a time when wickets were falling from the other end, Akhil held fort from one end smashing 9 boundaries and a six. From the bowlers, Shashank Attarde was the pick of the lot inflicting maximum damage as he returned with bowling figures of 4/71 in 16 overs while Royston Dias and Atharva Ankolekar bagging 2 wkts each.

Victory CC in reply chased down the score in 31.3 overs with Pragnesh Kanpillewar at the middle order scoring 46 runs off 41 balls while Aayush Zimare remaining unbeaten on 24* off 26 balls as Victory CC won the match by 5 wkts.
