Victory Cricket Club opting to bat first at Parsee Gymkhana Ground made a healthy total on board putting up 299/6 in 45 overs. After losing both the openers early, it was their classy left hander Aayush Zimare at no.3 steadying the ship smashing 90 runs off 87 balls smashing 11 fours and 2 sixes. Aayush who was looking well set missed out on a well deserved century but he already did the damage to the opposition with his counter attacking cricket. Sairaj Patil at the middle order also played well scoring 86 runs while stitching a vital partnership with Aayush as both the batters alongwith Suraj Shinde (79 runs) took their team towards a strong position. From the bowlers, Siddarth Raut with 3/56 was the pick of the lot.
Parsee Gymkhana in reply left no stone unturned as both the teams put up a strong fight for their team. Kevin Almeida and Vikrant Auti stitched a first wicket partnership of 133 runs where in both the left handers smashed impressive half centuries. Vikrant Auti smashed a solid looking 61 off 82 balls while Kevin scored 64 runs off 53 balls. Siddarth Raut also chipped in with a quick half century. From the bowlers, in-form Vijay Gohil was the pick of the lot taking 4//52 in 9 overs.
The match went till the final ball and eventually Parsee Gymkhana also finished their innings at 299 all out in 45 overs as match ended in a draw.
