Aayush Ambekar bags a 4-fer, Dombivli Centre wins on 1st innings lead in 32nd MCA Kalpesh Koli Tournament’24

Dombivali Centre opting to bat first made a total of 271/10 in 81.5 overs with half century by Captain Vedant Singh and century by middle order batsman Yuvraj Mali. From the bowlers, Yuvan Sharma was the pick of the lot.

Worli Center in reply were all out for 267 runs in 65.4 overs with half centuries by opener Svanik Waghdhare and no.3 batsman Nikhil Verma. From the bowlers, Aayush Ambekar was the pick of the lot taking 4/85 in 16.4 overs including some key wickets of set batters like Nikhil Verma who was looking well set to score a hundred. Aayush who trains under Coach Hrishikesh Puranik at Cricket Explained Academy has so far taken 13 wkts in the tournament including 2 four wkt hauls.

Dombivali Center batted for 17 overs in the 2nd innings before the end of the game’s play where Dombivli Centre won the match on 1st innings lead.
