Aaditya Gupta smashes the First Hundred of Designers Premier League’22

DPL Pratpgad Royals opting to bat first at Shinde High School Ground in Pune posted a healthy total of 196/6 in 20 overs. After losing both the openers early, it was Aaditya Gupta who held his nerves and rescued his team with a fantastic knock of 110 runs. Aaditya tonked bowlers in every corner of the ground as he became the first batsman to score a hundred in Designers Premier League – a record which no one can take away from him now. Aaditya scored 110 off just 50 balls wherein he smashed 14 boundaries and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 220.00

DPL Rajgad Tigers in reply managed to score 160/9 with opener Sumit Nigade top scoring with 52 runs off 31 balls. Skipper Rushikesh Bagul led from the front amongst the bowlers being the pick of the lot with 3/21 in 4 overs. Vinay Kate and Mangesh Hande also bagged 2 wkts each.

Result: DPL_Pratapgad Royals won by 36 runs,  Aaditya Gupta declared ‘man of the match’
