A commanding win for Hoylandswaine CC as senior pro Harpreet chips in with a match winning 50 in Huddersfield Premier League’25

Thongsbridge CC opting to bat first made a total of 200 runs in 45.4 overs with opener R France being the highest scorer with 48 runs. Hoylandswaine bowlers did a commendable job with S Patel and N Hussain bagging 3 wickets a piece.

Chasing 201, Hoylandswaine CC lost their opener early but thanks to F Shafiq (78 runs) and Senior Pro Batter Harpreet Singh Bhatia who stitched a 99 run stand for the 2nd wicket. Harpreet Singh Bhatia who came at no.3 anchored the chase with a solid half century smashing 50 runs off 62 balls which even included 3 sixes in it!

Result: Hoylandswaine CC won by 5 wickets.
