Nikhil Jain Cricketer

United XI after being put to bat first at Parandwal Sports Academy in Dehu, Pune posted a total of 160/9 in 19.2 overs. Opener Nikhil Jain fought it out alone scoring more than half of the team runs and batting almost till the death overs. Nikhil who scored a brilliant hundred a few days back continued his purple patch with the bat as he went on to score a brilliant 104 off 62 balls smashing 15 fours and a six. Nikhil lacked support from the other end or else United XI could have easily crossed a 180+ total on the board.

Maratha Warriors crossed down the score successfully winning the match by 2wkts crossing the victory line in the 20th over with Vignesh Palwankar scoring 82 off 42 balls. Even, though United XI lost the match, Nikhil did left behind an impact with his enterprising display of batting.
