Into the all important finals of the MCA Women’s Knockout Championship at Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana Ground in Kandivali, Vijay Cricket Club batting first made a total of 142 runs in 39.5 overs. Most of their batters gave starts with Vidhi Kadam at middle order top scoring with 35 runs. From the bowlers, Siddhi and Samruddhi with 3wkts each were the pick of the lot.
Defending a total of 143, Oriental Cricket Club were all out for 109 runs thanks to a brilliant fightback by Vijay CC players. Ananya Maurya took 3/9 while Unnati Gharat and Arya Lokhande bagged 2 wkts each.
