Saksham Parashar’s brilliant 139 guides Goregaon Sports Club to a big win in MCA Purshottam Shield Tournament’25

Played at Sainath Sports Club Ground in Virar, Goregaon Sports Club batting first made a total of 275/7 in 45 overs. After losing some early top order wickets, opener Ishan Roy (45 runs) and Captain Saksham Parashar held fort to stabilize the innings. Saksham who came at no.4 played a match winning innings smashing a swashbuckling 139 off 101 balls which included 7 boundaries and as many as 9 sixes to his name. Saksham counter attacked the bowlers and showed great depth in the death overs taking his team to a strong position.

Sainath Sports Club in reply were all out for 134 runs in 24.3 overs with Aditya Dhumal bagging 3/25 being the pick of the lot. Saksham Parashar also chipped in with 2wkts with the ball making it a complete all-round show as Goregaon Sports Club won the match by a good margin of 41 runs.
