Dependable & Experienced Akhil Herwadkar once again anchored the innings with a brisk half century as he scored an impressive 66 off 40 balls smashing 10 boundaries and a six. Akhil also stitched a crucial stand with Akash Anand (43 runs) as both the batters forged an 88run stand for the 2nd wicket. Quickfire cameos by their middle order all-rounders Akash Parkar (20 off 12 balls), Sourabh Singh (29* off 12 balls), Sujit N (15 off 8 balls) & Dhrumil M (12* off 7 balls) in the death overs helped them cross the 200 run mark.
Mumbai Police Gymkhana in reply could’nt dominate chasing a target of 203 as CCI bowlers completely kept the opposition under control with their disciplined bowling. Dhrumil Matkar with 3/14 in 4 overs and Kartik Mishra with 2/20 in 4 overs were the pick of the lot as CCI won the match by a handsome margin of 79 runs.
