Victory CC batting first on MIG CC Ground in Bandra made a total of 178/10 in 48 overs with Shashwat Jagtap (43 runs) and Aayush Zimare (43 runs) being the top scorers. Spinner Dhrumil Matkar with 7/60 in 20 overs including 3 maidens bowled exceptionally well as he emerged the pick of the bowler for Cricket Club of India team.
Chasing 179, CCI showed it’s batting strength chasing down the total without losing any wickets as opener Akhil Herwadkar anchored the chase with a match winning century. Akhil who recently scored a solid half century for Mumbai in Ranji Trophy showed his class yet again as he went on to score an unbeaten 103* off 95 balls which had as many as 8 sixes coupled with 6 boundaries. Akhil was well supported by Aarya Satpure who scored 61* off 101 balls as CCI cruised towards a 10 wkt win vs Victory CC.
