MCC’s Awais Khan’s impressive 146* guides Sind Sports Club to a win in MCA Purshottam Shield Tournament’25

Parkophene Cricketers batting first on Karnatak, Cross Maidan made a total of 259/9 in 45 overs. Sagar Mishra (73 runs) and Ninad Kadam (57 runs) scored half centuries for Parkophene. From the bowlers, Puneet Tripathi with 3 wkts was the pick of the lot.

Chasing 260, Sind Sports Club finished off the game with pure dominance thanks to a swashbuckling century by Awais Khan. Opening the innings, Awais counter attacked the Parkophene bowlers as he anchored the chase with a match winning knock of 134* off mere 110 balls. Awais smashed 16 boundaries and 4 sixes while he was ably supported by his opening partner A Mohit Jain (59 runs) and Mayuresh Tandel (47 runs) at the middle order as Sind SC won the match by 8 wkts.
