Into the all important semi-finals at Islam Gymkhana, Parsee Gymkhana batting first registered a record total of 512/6 in 45 overs thanks to a massive 204 run stand between Jayy Jain and Ayush Vartak (149 runs) who scored thumping centuries for their team. Just fresh from an unbeaten 47 ball 130*, Jayy continues to raise his stakes with a yet another mesmerizing innings to take the game away from the opposition. Jayy top scored in the game as he went on to score 159* off mere 77 balls, a knock which included 13 boundaries and 12 sixes to his name as he tore apart everything which came in his way.
New Hindu CC in reply were all out for 233 runs in 21.1 overs with Harikesh Yadav taking 6/33 in 5.1 overs as Parsee Gymkhana won the match by 279 runs.
