Jayy continues his solid form with the bat, this time an unbeaten 77* vs Odisha in BCCI U23 Men’s State ‘A’ Trophy Elite One Day Match

Played at Kotambi Stadium B in Vadodara, Odisha team batting first made a total of 197 runs in 43.2 overs. Himanshu Singh with 3 wickets and Zaid Patankar-Nikhil Giri with 2 wickets each were the pick of the lot from the bowlers for Mumbai.

Chasing 198 looked a cakwalk for the powerful Mumbai team as they sealed off the game in just 29.5 overs winning the match by 8 wickets. Jayy Jain who scored a fabulous 121 in his previous outing vs Jharkhand once again stood out for Mumbai anchoring the chase with an unbeaten 77* off 59 balls which included 4 boundaries and 4 sixes. Jayy was well supported by Prateek Yadav (63* off 71 balls) as both the batters stitched an unbeaten 132 run partnership for 3rd for Mumbai helping Mumbai dominate once again with a commanding win.
