Played at Sagar Cricket Ground in Telangana, Hyderabad, Bhavans Sri Ramakrishna Vidayalaya batting first could’nt muster a big total on board getting all out for 118 runs in 31.2 overs. It was a collective bowling performance by Sri Chaitanya School bowlers as every bowler contributed with wickets. Chasing 119 looked like a mere formality for Sri Chaitanya School as they won the match by 5 wkts. Even though, they lost some quick wickets with scoreboard reading 29/3 at one stage but G Prem anchored the chase with an unbeaten half century scoring 52* off 45 balls. G Prem who smashed 9 boundaries guided his team towards a comfortable win in the end crossing the victory line in 21 overs.
In the other match which followed, Sri Chaitanya School batting first posted a massive total of 337/3 in 30 overs. Openers Vineeth Pawar (66 off 48 balls) and C Siddarth Rao (117 runs off just 55 balls) gave a flying start putting on 199 runs for the 1st wicket. T Shiva Rama Krishna and G Prem who came at no.3 and 4 continued on the positive momentum left behind the openers as both the batters ensured their team crossed the 300 run mark with 121 run stand for the 2nd wicket. T Shiva Rama Krishna scored 52 off 36 balls while G Prem scored yet another unbeaten half century scoring 58* off 40 balls smashing 7 fours and 1 six.
St. Joseph’s Degree College in reply were cleaned up for 71 runs courtesy 6 wkt haul by M Ram Charan as Sri Chaitanya School won the match by 266 runs.
