Democratic Sports Club opting to bat first at Walke Sports Ground in Pune made a total of 119/19 in 20 overs. After losing the openers early, Abhishek Godbole (24 runs) and Anand Taunk (26 runs) resurrected their team’s innings back with a handy partnership of 43 runs for 3rd wicket which helped the team reach a defendable total of 119/10 in 20 overs. From the bowlers, Prasad, Satyam and Pushpadant bagged 2 wkts a piece.

Spartans in reply received a tough fight from Democratic SC bowlers as they successfully defended their low total restricting them to 103/9 in 20 overs. All-Rounder Abhishek Godbole led from the front taking 3/14 in 3 overs while Shreyas and Saurabh chipping in with 2wkts each.

Democratic Champions won the match by 16 runs while Abhishek Godbole was declared ‘Man of the Match”
