Subbu as he is fondly called has developed a name for himself in Mumbai Cricket courtesy his yeoman services first as a player in Mumbai Cricket followed by his impeccable coaching journey. Subramanian Doraiswamy is one of those players who will give you an instant motivation just looking at his aura, presence and energy on the field or while training others.
It’s been almost two decades since he is ruling on the maidans of Mumbai Cricket as a professional cricketer playing in almost every marquee MCA and Corporate Tournaments. Subbu, a solid top order batsman has often proved his merit as a cricketer with consistent performances throughout his career. No wonder he is still one of the batting mainstays of top division DY Patil team. Subramanian also made his first-class debut in 2013 vs Karnataka and List ‘A’ Debut vs Maharashtra in 2013 while he also represented India at Mumbai University level in his early playing days.
A man of few words but an impactful personality on & off the field, Subramanian Doraiswamy is now an acclaimed Cricket Coach leading from the front at Achievers Cricket Academy which is one of the best cricket academies in Central part of Mumbai. Subbu now has close to 15 years of experience in Coaching and he has worked with some of the Top Players and International teams. Subramanian Doraiswamy certainly has a strong coaching profile where he has impacted careers of many aspiring cricketers. One of the latest feather in the caps for Subbu was when he was appointed the Head Coach with West Indies Legends Cricket Team in the RS Road Safety World Series, an experience which he certainly will cherish for a long time.
