All-Rounder Sydney helps Stallions CC thwart Royal Challengers in the prestigious M.B.P.L Tournament’23

Stallions Cricket Club opting to bat first at Gurukul Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad made a massive total of 243/3 in 20 overs. Openers Arjun Singh (41 off 27) and Shubham (88 off 51 balls) gave a flying start while Sydney Joseph who came at no.3 successfully carried on the positive momentum left by the openers as he batted deeply till the end scoring an unbeaten 89* off just 38 balls which included 12 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 234.21

Royal Challengers in reply did gave a tough fight with Azher Khan at no.6 being the lone warrior smashing 102* off 54 balls. Had he received little support from the other end, results could have been different for sure! From the bowlers, Haroon and Faraz bagged 2wkts each while Sydney also chipped in with the ball with 1/23 in 3 overs.
