RAGHU-SHARMA-CRICKETER

Raghu Sharma has been one impact player who has always given crucial performances as an all-rounder. 28yr old Raghu already holds the experience of playing all the 3 formats at the Domestic Level and if his recent performances in Pondicherry T12 and Byju’s Pondicherry T20 tournaments are anything to go by, he looks all set for an exciting season ahead.

In the recently concluded one of its kind Pondicherry T12 Tournament in July-August, Raghu representing Patriots team was amongst the most promising bowlers in the tournament scalping 11 wickets in 9 matches with best bowling figures of 4/11 in 3 overs. The one thing which stood out for him was his ability to now allow the batsman to score runs freely as he returned with an exceptional economy rate of 4.5 rpo in 9 games.

In the BYJU’S Pondicherry T20 Tournament, Raghu Sharma again made his presence felt taking 9 wickets in 5 matches with best bowling figures of 3/19 in 4 overs representing Sharks Team. Raghu has indeed proved to be an impact spinner and it will be interesting to see how Pondicherry utilizes him as he can contribute on many fronts right from being a spin bowling all-rounder, dietician & Strength and Conditioning coach.

Speaking exclusively with Zoom Cricket, Raghu shared ” I am working day in and day out on my fitness, anyone can come and see me daily schedule on how i prepare. I have always given my 100% in cricket because playing this sport is my passion as well as an honor. I am glad i came up with some good performances in the T12 and T20 tournaments and my aim is certainly to play for Pondicherry in all the 3 formats, give consistent performances and help our team reach new heights of success”
