Swapnil Salvi smashes 9 sixes vs Mafatlal CC in MCA Corporate Trophy’24

AG (L & R) Sports Club opting to bat first at Worli Sports Club Ground in Mumbai made a total of 181/7 in 15 overs. Openers Varun Lavande and Swapnil Salvi wrecked havoc putting on 148 runs in mere 11.2 overs. Varun scored 61 off 37 while Swapnil went on to score a blazing 89 off mere 35 deliveries which included as many as 9 sixes alongwith 5 boundaries at a strike rate of 254.29. It was a complete carnage as both the openers collectively spanked 13 sixes and 10 fours together.

Mafatlal CC were all out for 104 runs with Siddhesh N bagging 3 wkts while Vedant and Prankesh bagging 2 wkts a piece. AG (L & R) Sports Club won the match by 77 runs while Swapnil Salvi was declared ‘man of the match”. This is also Swapnil’s 3^rd back to back man of the match award in the tournament.
