Skipper Dennis leads from the front as Predators emerge Champions of TPL 2024

Thackeray Titans opting to bowl first at Thackeray Park, Toronto, Canada reduced the host team Thackeray Titans to 118/8 in 15 overs. Only two batters managed to score in double digits with Abdool Samad at the middle order being the top scorer with 57 runs off 30 balls. From the bowlers, Rithik Singh with 3/7 in 3 overs and Captain Dennis Raphel with 2 wkts was the pick of the lot.

Predators chasing 119 runs chased down the score with complete domination crossing the victory line in 11th over and winning the finals by 8 wkts. Openers Dennis and Pankaj gave a flying start putting on 53 runs for the first wicket to set the perfect tone for the chase. All-rounder Dennis chipped in with a quick 32 off 21 balls which included 3 sixes while Nikhil Chawla at no.3 played the finishers role smashing a quick 45* off 17 balls which included 4 fours and 3 sixes.

Predators Cricket Club have been a revelation this season putting out impactful performances throughout the season while losing only twice in the tournament. Captain Dennis with his all-round contribution not only proved to be a match winner for his team but also ended up being the MVP (Most Valued Player in the tournament). Dennis proved to be quite a handful both with the bat as well as with the ball as he ended up being the highest wicket taker as well as third highest run scorer in the tournament.  Dennis with 799 points smashed 248 runs in the tournament alongwith 12 wkts showcasing his quality all-round skills throughout the series.
